Write The Obituary collects only the information you provide through the questionnaire — details about your loved one, your writing style and length preferences, and information needed to process your purchase.

Why we collect it: To generate an AI-assisted obituary draft based on your answers, to save your draft so you can return to it, and to verify your Google Play purchase.

AI provider: Your questionnaire answers are sent to an AI provider to generate the obituary text. They are used only for that purpose and are not retained by the AI provider for training.

Purchase processing: Google processes your purchase through Google Play Billing. We do not see or store your payment method.

Retention: Your draft is saved on your device. You can delete it at any time from Settings.

No selling or advertising: We do not sell your personal information. We do not use obituary details for advertising. Nothing is published automatically.

Your rights: You can delete your draft, your completed project, or all your information at any time from Settings.

Users are responsible for reviewing names, dates, relationships, service information and all other details before sharing or publishing an obituary. Nothing is published automatically.

The $9.99 purchase grants access to one obituary project, including AI generation, all writing styles, all length options, editing, regeneration, version history, copying, sharing, email preparation, printing, and PDF export. A new obituary for a different person requires a new purchase.
